  • HOW DO I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?

  • CAN I START MY OWN VOLUNTEER PROJECT?

    Yes! SHELTER, Inc. has opportunities for individuals and groups to initiate a project. For more information, check out our Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities page, Seasonal Volunteer Opportunities page, or contact our Resource Coordinator, Theresita Gonzalez at theresitag@shelterincofccc.org.

  • CAN MY ORGANIZATION, GROUP OR SCHOOL PARTICIPATE IN A PROJECT?

    Yes, volunteers come in many group types, from church groups to corporate groups, as well as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and teens from the local high schools. If your group is interested in volunteering, we will try our best to match you with an appropriate project. Please visit our Volunteer page for more information on seasonal and group projects.

  • IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT TO VOLUNTEER?

    We accept young volunteers (12 years old and younger) as long as there is an adult/guardian supervising during the volunteer project.
