SHELTER, Inc. accepts most vehicles, running or not, which are then sold. The proceeds from sales, after related expenses, help SHELTER, Inc. work towards its mission. Car Donation Services is licensed by the State Attorney General’s office; bonded and insured, and complies with all tax reporting requirements.
The residual amount left on your BART tickets, whether five cents or five dollars, will be redeemed at face value. Just turn them in to SHELTER, Inc. at 1815 Arnold Drive, Martinez, CA 94553.
Before donating furniture, please call the Donation Line at (925) 957-7577. Furniture usually accepted includes dressers, nightstands, lamps, coffee tables, and beds (twin, full or queen) in good condition. Define good condition? Ask yourself if you would pass it on to a family member.
